Delete your account
We respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You can delete your My-Prompt account at any time from inside the app.
How to delete your account
1. Open the My-Prompt app and log in.
2. Tap the Settings tab.
3. Scroll down to the Privacy & Data section.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Enter your password to confirm.
6. Your account will be deactivated immediately.
30-day grace period
Your account is deactivated immediately, but your data is retained for 30 days. During this period you can restore your account by emailing support@my-prompt.co.uk.
After 30 days, all of your information is permanently removed.
What data we delete
When your account is permanently removed, we delete: account information (name, email, university), goals, steps and completion history, points, rewards and achievements, study sets and learning progress, app preferences and notification settings, and payment information (where applicable).
